Maiden Built is led by its founder, Carmen Duenzl, an Adelaide carpenter with a genuine love for the craft and a warm, down-to-earth way of working. Inspired by builders in her family, she created Maiden Built around the things that matter on every job: thoughtful planning, honest communication and work she is proud to put her name to.
As a woman building her place in construction, Carmen brings her own perspective to the trade, but the work always comes first: careful workmanship, clean finishes and respect for every home, business and site.
She is happiest on the tools, working through the tricky details and watching a job come together properly. Carmen stays closely involved in every Maiden Built project and coordinates trusted trades and specialist support where the scope calls for it.
What that adds up to is a calm, straightforward experience: you are listened to properly, expectations are clear, and you always know who to ask.
